We are shattered and shaken by this loss. Todd was a dear friend to all of us at Hedgeye and an esteemed colleague. The pain is immeasurable, and our hearts ache with grief. We are still in shock and struggling to come to terms with the reality of his absence. As a cornerstone of our firm since its inception, Todd was not only an exceptional analyst, but also a pivotal force as the head of our Gaming, Lodging & Leisure team and Hedgeye’s CFO. Joining our budding enterprise in 2008 ignited Todd’s entrepreneurial spirit. This drove his efforts at Hedgeye and the associated enterprises he worked to create, nurture and bring to fruition. Todd possessed a sharp wit and rare gift for humor that brought joy and laughter to everyone around him.
