Good morning, #writingcommunity ☀️ Today’s goal: write something good. Today’s reality: argue with a comma. Reminder: you are talented, your story matters, and yes… that sentence probably needs fixing 😂

@SweetNovember48 Ha Ha, thank you! I found your book on Amazon. I will add it to my "To read stack" and will eventually get to it. "The Elevator" was a journey I took into darkness (My upcoming thriller novel may be something you would like to read). amazon.com/NARCISSIST-Evi…

@realPeterCrerar That resonates. I found using the typewriter a tool of certainty. Every word and sentence I was to type, I rolled around inside my head to make sure it took the story in the right direction. I hated using liquid paper, a.k.a. “Wite-Out”.

@GasparHAuthor Years ago, I did it to get the feel of storytelling sentences, hulling a typewriter up to a rented space overlooking the province's oldest port first thing every morning for weeks.

I remember when Sears first carried the Brother electric typewriter. I wanted to write my next story using it, but was too poor to buy one. Now I will confess, and my apologies to Sears. Sears had a 30 days return policy if I did not like it. So I bought it, wrote my story, and returned it within 30 days. 😔

@GasparHAuthor My first tripewriter [Oops but that's probably accurate] was purely mechanical and saw me through college.

@GasparHAuthor Yes I did and I also used an old fashioned computer with an 8 inch floppy disk at one point.
