Former Driver and Gang Arrested Over Alleged Plot to Kidn@p and K+ll Boss for Property Takeover in Ogun State A man identified as Owolabi Moses, reportedly a former driver to Mr. Chidozie Joseph, has been accused of masterminding a plan to abd¥ct and k+ll his former boss in order to take over his property. According to reports, Moses allegedly conspired with three other individuals to kidn@p Mr. Joseph, k+ll him, and subsequently sell off his belongings, particularly goods in his drinks business. However, the plan was foiled after one of the alleged accomplices, a butcher who was recruited for the operation, reportedly developed a guilty conscience and alerted the So-Safe Security Corps office in the Ota area of Ogun State. Following the tip-off, security operatives reportedly moved in and arrested the suspects. During interrogation, they allegedly confessed to planning the abd¥ction and m¥rder of Mr. Joseph. The suspects are currently being held at the New Ota Police Station, located opposite the Magistrate Court in Ota, Ogun State, as investigations continue.

This was disclosed by the president of the Nigerian Citizens Association South Africa (NICASA), Rev. Frank Onyekwelu, on Friday, who urged the Federal Government to speed up the evacuation process. “Several have exhausted their limited resources after travelling long distances in good faith, believing arrangements had been adequately concluded for their departure. They are hungry and homeless,” he said. The group expressed frustration over the postponement of the second evacuation exercise planned by the Nigerian government, which has left many of them in difficult living conditions. Those affected include women, children, and elderly persons who reportedly depleted their savings while waiting for arrangements to be completed for their return to Nigeria.
