To be clear, he was abusive. He owes me more than you’d believe. He’s said worse than you’d believe. He is an ungrateful fuck, who showed me the same abuse he publicly spoke out against. I thought I had to take the punches because I loved him. Love isn’t supposed to destroy you.

At a domestic violence support group, I was interrupted while trying to explain what precipitated each of the times that man screamed in my face. Because the reason doesn’t matter. That behavior is simply inexcusable.

In this world I can’t make any sense of, my mother is trying to compel me to sympathize with a sexually predatory man in a position of power 🤯☠️

I genuinely enjoy performing random acts of kindness. It doesn’t need to be big to be impactful. So many people are stressed in their day to day and a small gesture of kindness can go a long way for someone.
