dear, i’m confused too hahaha apparently “art hoe” is actually a movement, mostly embraced by black women artists, and the person behind lola said that’s why she chose the name. but the issue is how badly that context was used. i didn’t even know about the movement before this, and instead of properly introducing it after all the backlash, SR just deleted the post… which makes it even more confusing lol and on top of that, the whole “ai as a judge” thing is already something i’m questioning so yeah… it’s messy, and somehow you end up feeling like you might get called racist just for reacting to it hahaha

hey @SuperRare have you heard of screenshot technology? deleting the post doesn’t really erase anything. maybe you should train an ai agent to handle your X account as well.

@line_art_murder It’s interesting to see how the internet is a free for all space where there’s more social divide than unity happening more often than not because of people’s lack of awareness and/or lack of care, because they can hide or get away with it.

As an artist trying to sell my work I am aware of what my brand is, how I think most people will perceive me, and the impact that what I say will have on people even when it's a joke. It's crazy that the largest platforms in this space often don't have the same awareness.
