@Gelvetication @llFenll @GrapefruitPine1 @MentisWave Family in India is also very important lmao, you're just obtuse on purpose. Please grab a book someday.
English

@Gargrug @Zachariahskylab @randomacc1721 @MentisWave because i totally trust what polls of people who aren't actually in fear for their life think.
English

@Zachariahskylab @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave boredom and it's funny to see midwits try to defend a losing position
English

@Gelvetication @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave I understand why the blues talk so much about it. But why do the reds like to talk about this dilemma? Wouldn't it make more sense to just be a secret red?
English

@Gelvetication @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave Most third worlders are parents.
Parents know some of their children will choose blue.
English

@Zachariahskylab @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave The children aren't saved. You die in vain, and you could have persisted in a world and created new/good things in spite of the apocalyptic event.
English

@Gelvetication @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave I will definitely vote blue if there are children involved. I am okay with dying. It's not that scary. Dying to save children is one of the most blessed ways to go.
English

@Zachariahskylab @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave For empirical evidence, you would need to put everyone in this exact situation to account for the actual threat of death, and not a twiter poll
Blue is guaranteed to lose because people will not trust 4+ billion people to save them, anything else and you're just kidding yourself
English

@Gelvetication @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave Blue always wins. You seem to think you know the outcome for a fact. But you have no empirical evidence.
English

@Gargrug @Zachariahskylab @randomacc1721 @MentisWave you're under the impression that everyone thinks like you, which they don't.
English

@Gelvetication @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave That sign in the middle would attract a lot of children to press it, no?
English

@Zachariahskylab @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave There's a difference between thinking of the children now vs looking down the barrel of a loaded gun next to a kid hoping the shooter will change his mind.
Your instincts would not let you, as much as you try to deny it now. You aren't a hero.
English

@Gelvetication @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave It's not certain death. Most people are good and will think of the children. And even the people who are not good tend to be dumb.
I vote to save the children. If I die trying to save the children then I can accept that. There are worse ways to die.
English

@Gargrug @Zachariahskylab @randomacc1721 @MentisWave my only change is i would put the middle of the road blue pushers a little higher
English

@Gargrug @Zachariahskylab @randomacc1721 @MentisWave i mean this isn't a bad way of putting it

TL;DR:
English

@Gelvetication @GrapefruitPine1 @MentisWave 100% of planet Earth have parents or children.
Third worlders are the one who will vote blue, because family is the only thing they have to survive. You will not outvote them.
English

@Zachariahskylab @Gargrug @randomacc1721 @MentisWave You're under the impression blue has the possibility of winning. But you don't see 500 million toddlers facing certain death. And many low IQ countries are going to drag the blue vote way down because they are exclusively concerned with the self.
English

@Gargrug @Gelvetication @randomacc1721 @MentisWave That's why blue always win. At least 50% of the voters think one step ahead before voting. Red pushers solve the puzzle without saving the children.
English

@GrapefruitPine1 @MentisWave that's if you have any meaningful chance of changing the outcome.
You can't. Your vote will not beat 4 billion third worlders
English

@Gelvetication @MentisWave You're underestimating the family preservation instincts of your average parent.
A parent will run into a burning building if they think there is even a tiny possibility of saving their kids.
I have two kids, that means there is a 75% chance at least one picked blue.
English

@cezarybaginski @NerdAthleticz @MentisWave ideally you wouldn't have time to convince anyone (and you wouldn't be able to see their votes to begin with). But the issue is China would vote red whether or not they knew the votes of westerners because they don't focus nearly as much on tightknit communities as Japan , etc.
English

@Gelvetication @NerdAthleticz @MentisWave If more westerners would vote blue, it would make sense for the Chinese government to pressure its population to vote red.
This is game theory not a virtue-signalling exam.
English

@GrapefruitPine1 @MentisWave unironically if babies, toddlers, and children are included in the vote you should still press red because you will die with the ones that mistakenly push it if you don't.
You are outnumbered by billions of instinctual third worlders with self preservation instinct.
English

@MentisWave The question is stupid because it is vague.
Are babies/toddlers/children included in this vote? Then press blue.
Are they excluded? Then press red.
No need to complicate anything else
English

@Zachariahskylab @randomacc1721 @MentisWave if a baby crawls underneath the crusher, me trying to crawl under and die with it isn't going to fix the problem, and the billions of third worlders weren't going to help to begin with.
English

@randomacc1721 @MentisWave Blue is trying to save the babies in the crusher. Please help, red.
