Ms. @archnavyas, Country Director, @gatesfoundation called on Prof. @AjaySoodIISc, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India to discuss possible ways to support S&T Clusters and to bring leading reasearchers, institutions, startups and policymaking together to streghthen India’s innovation ecosystem and translate cutting-edge research into solutions with both national and global impact. They also deliberated on possible avenues for partnership to advance scientific excellence and innovation and contribute to the shared national vision of Viksit Bharat. The meeting was also joined by Arnav Kapur from Gates Foundation and Dr. Rakesh Kaur, Adviser/Scientist ‘G’, and Dr. Sangeeta Agarwal, Scientist ‘F’ from OPSA.

I am not into lobbying, and I know very well which lobby you are representing here. Out of 434 clearances, you are selectively choosing a few to push a propaganda line. The issue is not about individuals, but about the topics. And if someone wants to return and work with us, why should we refuse them? Our objective is to weaken leftist ideology, not push away our own young people. At this point, when the Education Ministry and Dharmendra Pradhan are already facing backlash over the UGC regulations, their positive work should also be amplified.
