Random hot take: A lot of what AI knows about humans ( as in the human aspect of humans, the non factual aspects) is going to come or has already come from reddit ( could have been twitter but elon is an asd plus unlike reddit it is not easily cateorizable for AI to absorb)

the 2000s and early-2010s "frontlash against Islamophobia" shielded Pakistani grooming gangs right when their cases were beginning to hit the courts.
there was no real "post-9/11 Islamophobia". fearing a backlash that never came, US/UK media did such aggressive pro-Muslim signaling that Muslims became a protected class in the Anglosphere.

The same "dissenting and China glazing" Nehru had no qualms in begging the US for food aid to stave off famine, then beg (literally) arms aid from the US.
The same grandstanding Nehru also put Chinese interests first and sent rice to the Chinese troops that invaded Tibet.
Reducing all this to "brave Nehru" is deeply problematic because Nehru purely to satiate his monumental ego didn't consider the best interests of Indians at large.
Take this grandstanding, in 1951 the US was the only hegemon (USSR had yet to test nukes) , it was bankrolling allies everywhere and making life difficult for any state associated with communism. Nehru could have chosen to stay neutral but no, empty and performative grandstanding it is.
It's like if Somalia today decided to oppose the Iran peace Accord....affects nothing but Somalis negatively
