💢 Vice President JD Vance — complicit in the deliberate restriction of essential food, shelter, and medicine to 2 million Palestinian civilians, including a million children— falsely claimed yesterday that more aid is entering Gaza now than at any point in the last five years. A joint humanitarian scorecard from Oxfam, Norwegian Refugee Council, Save the Children, and Refugees International last week gave the ceasefire a failing grade—scoring just 5 out of 26 overall, with aid access collapsing to 0 out of 10. UN OCHA and Anera report ongoing fuel shortages, a dismantled medical system with shortages across almost all essential items, and the closure of all but one crossing, leaving relief operations effectively strangled. “It's astonishing that six months into this deal, most of the border crossings into Gaza remain closed. There's no reason for that. There's no plausible security or operational justification for that — it is just about deprivation,” Jeremy Konyndyk, president of Refugees International said.
