This is batshit crazy, but one of the brand new hard drives in my home server went nuclear today. Completely dead. Randomly. I won the hard drive lottery! There are no replacements online available within <3 weeks. It is my daily workhorse and any data loss would be catastrophic. (weddings, client work, etc all on this drive) I'm about to drive 6 hours / 320 miles tonight, leaving immediately, just to get the nearest replacement HDD for this server. Truck is at 55% SoC. 325kW Superchargers light the way This is as spontaneous as it gets. Anyone need anything from Microcenter? 😂

@Michael_L_Rauch @Tesla Switch to Autosteer. It will keep a consistent 5 over unless things are really bad. FSD SUCKS on country roads - worse than distracted drivers.

Question: how is @Tesla FSD determining speed limits? Is it map based or camera based seeing signs? If vision why does it think it’s 35mph in this stretch after passing 4 signs showing 55mph? I had to push accelerator to get up to speed as I was annoying people behind me.

@TESLA_winston It assumes you will drive like the other Tesla's traveling that route. They may be doing 80 - 90 -100 mph. You keep near the speed limit and you will get your rated range.

My mom was in Ely, NV yesterday and found herself in a predicament. She put Las Vegas into the map and it said she would arrive at 2%. She left at 100% SOC from the Ely Supercharger and I gave her all the range tips as I didn't think she was going to make it. However, after about 20 minutes the car said she would arrive at 22% without any route changes. Super strange!

It’s definitely going to go wide soon. It’s nearly perfect. Much better than early versions of 14. There will probably be a 14.3.1 or something tomorrow, and that will go out to more people (not just early access)
