@LuisLunaJr Hey there, did you know he had the Zohar on the shelf. His parents history is interesting. Of course Vienna in the day what could you say. Look at psychoanalysis and Jewish mysticism. When it comes to money he was absolutely correct

Freud was right on the money on a lot of things. But his takes on religion are reductionistic and he’s wrong there. I’m ready to fight anyone about this on the Lord’s day today. 😎

LIFE AND DEATH ROW just started on RTE2. It's about the final appeals of Ramiro Gonzales before he was due to be executed in Texas. If you're looking for something light before bed, this is just the one for you.

@Brendanbets1 @OdohertyI64991 @Hopefullytw Brendan, what's going on? I hear your anger and intelligence. What's going on with you? This is probably not the forum to discuss properly. However I'm interested and would welcome further discussion

Regarding #manosphere, perhaps it is anticapitalism rather than misogyny. Thoughts welcome

Suffering is perpetuated by fixating on suffering. The mental health industrial complex is creating more suffering. A revolution is coming

An absolute fantasy. A hopeful fairy tale for children. “I have an undamaged and natural and pure Core Self.” Guys, this stopped being true the moment you were born into the world within relationships to Others. By the time you developed language, man oh man, was it truly over.

Many come to analysis with the fantasy that they’ll find a perfect parent in the analyst (idealization), or a justification for the mistakes of their parents. They struggle with the guilt of their hate for them & convince themselves that it’s their fault. The cycle continues.

Nothing I have ever said or done could lead a sane person to believe that I am a Zionist. However. If someone exults in the death of a friend of mine, yes I will block them. If you wouldn’t do the same in my position, you can fuck off too.

@VictoriaCoren The comedy in Small Prophets was so gentle as to be non-existent. The acting (apart from Palin) was rather wooden.

SO proud to hear the name of our quiz in the mouth of Michael Palin and the words of Mackenzie Crook. How lovely to exist in that universe. #SmallProphets is wonderful.

Two photos of John Lennon taken one year apart... In 1966, Lennon was still presenting himself in the polished mod style that defined the band’s early years: clean shaven, neatly cut hair, and the tailored look associated with their touring era. This was the final phase of the Beatles as a live act, a period defined by constant travel, deafening crowds, and a relentless schedule that left all four members creatively exhausted. Everything changed in 1967. The Beatles made the radical decision to stop touring, retreating into the studio to reinvent themselves. Lennon’s transformation mirrored the cultural revolution sweeping through Britain and the wider world. His longer hair, round glasses, and mustache became part of the psychedelic aesthetic that would shape the recording of “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” one of the most influential albums of the twentieth century. Freed from the demands of constant public appearances, Lennon began experimenting more with music, visual art, and identity. The shift also reflected his growing interest in counterculture, avant garde expression, and a desire to break from the hyper controlled image of Beatlemania. The contrast between the two photos illustrates how rapidly the 1960s were changing. Lennon’s distinctive round “granny glasses,” seen in the 1967 photo, were originally props from his role in the film “How I Won the War.” He liked them so much that they became a trademark of his look for the rest of his life. © Reddit #archaeohistories
