@bbenwashere Not a bad habit to start. Never an issue if you get something wrong, it's a good way to build gestural instincts

Think I’m at a point with learning anatomy and construction where I could start experimenting with drawing from imagination, but man is it a daunting task.

Scary as hell putting out drawings with your whole chest cause 24 hours later you can scroll past something that makes you feel like somebody pantsed you and everything you knew about art was on that Playskool level

@Jarggurnaut Lot of artist demographics blurring together in ways that didn't really happen before. Like I don't hold any judgement of any one speciality being greater than another but at the same time my stuff's low brow man, like am I really meant to be at this party?

@Guitarbeard The whole thing is weird cause in terms of quality or overall aesthetic there are people who are far far more capable than me so you really feel like you're on the wrong lane or smthn- but at that point what else can one do but keep posting 😭

@Hyacinth19711 Painful reality how most people are online for easy amusement above all so the low effort posts always win out. Its the visual art equivalent of short form media squeezing the life out of everything else because it doesn't need commitment

Every once in a while I'll be reminded a fursuit head costs as much or more than my American strat and thats just crazy. Completely understandable of course given labor and materials, but also crazy

Still got enormous personal hangups with visual art that are probably going to be a lifelong thing but it's whatever man, you forgive yourself just enough to not stop

I'm trying to be as positive as I can but I can't stand by that show when Gooseworx couldn't even be bothered to include any trapeze artists or a juggling sea lion, I don't want to just add to the hate but am I wrong?
