Luke Littler is amazing, I love him but the reaction today is nuts. ‘Best sporting teenager of all time’ I mean get a grip. Pele won the World Cup at 17, Wayne Rooney was far superior, Becker won Wimbledon at 17, Martina Hingis won the Australian Open at 16, Mike Tyson becoming heavyweight champion of the world at 20 is far more impressive. I love Luke, fellow is an icon but not even in the top 20 teen achievements.

On a bittersweet personal note another World final day means it marks two years since my father passed away suddenly without warning aged 58. He was a proper legend, loved his darts and anyone involved in the sport around the South Yorkshire area will probably remember him. The last memory we ever had together was when Gerwyn Price came out wearing the ear defenders and we just lost our shit 😂 what a memory to go out on. I then had a big week ahead of me. I am pleased to say that this went to plan, the main aim of the week was to ensure I qualified for The Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton.
