I'm hearing disturbing news that the former public defender (ombudsman) of #Georgia, Ucha Nanuashvili, was summoned by the State Security Service & questioned about his role in cooperating with OSCE's fact-finding mission to Georgia. Human rights defenders should not be subjected to intimidation & reprisals for cooperating with international human rights mechanisms. @GeorgiaGeneva

Right now police is searching the house of the executive director of HRC Aleko Tskitishvili. The search is related with the case of the Fund operated by HRH Tbilisi to assist the arbitrarily fined protesters and was frozen a few months ago. HRC is founding member of the HRHT
