Priorities We drive used cars We live in a 1,000 sqft home We don’t do take out very often But we splurge on family vacations. Because when our kids grow up, they won’t remember the french fries on a random Tuesday But they’ll remember floating on a lazy river in sunny Orlando

Since founding, Amazon has employed roughly 11.5 million worker-years globally, paid about $47.7 billion in disclosed cash income taxes since 2002 alone, and its U.S. workforce has likely generated another roughly $35–45 billion in federal income and payroll taxes. That’s before counting the value created for 200M+ Prime members and 300M+ active customers worldwide whose quality of life has been vastly improved by Amazon. And you, in your infinite wisdom, want to financially punish the creator of Amazon?

@UziCryptoo I somewhat disagree. The loan status should not be tied to the taxes, this is easily rigged, as you could borrow money, undetected from your brother-in-law. If taxed, at all, it should be taxed at transfer of ownership as a one-time event. Just a thought!

Just paid the property tax on the 10 acres I own FREE & CLEAR and I can't describe the amount of rage I feel inside. Property tax should end when you own the land. Period.
