Two more Nigerians were arrested in India this week for cocaine and MDMA trafficking. That is the FOURTH bust in India in 4 months. In January, two Nigerians were caught in Delhi with 418g of cocaine and 925 ecstasy tablets worth $600,000. The same January, two more were arrested in Hyderabad with 150g of MDMA. One had been in India on an EXPIRED VISA since 2014. In April, another two were caught in separate cases. One had 1 kilogram of high-quality cocaine. This week, two more in South Delhi with 102g of cocaine, 13g of MDMA, and 85g of methaqualone. The Indian police are now openly using the phrase “international drug syndicate run by Nigerians.” Read that line again. 💔 That is no longer a stereotype Nigerians can dismiss. That is the language law enforcement in another country is using on official press releases. The Nigerian Embassy in India needs to step up. The Nigerian government needs a public response. Because every single Nigerian student, businessperson, doctor, and tech worker living in India now carries the weight of these arrests when they walk into immigration, when they rent an apartment, when they apply for a job. A few bad actors are damaging the reputation of an entire community.

The Koreans only found out from the newspaper. Both partners then tried to fire each other in the same week. Zero houses were ever built. $300 million in fees and advances allegedly lost. Then came Saglemi in 2012. Mahama approved $200 million for 5,000 houses. The houses were supposed to cost $29,000 each. Ghana spent $293,000 per house. None were sold. The Attorney General charged Collins Dauda and four others in 2021 for $200 million financial loss. Earlier this year, the new Attorney General quietly withdrew the case. 200,000+ houses promised. Less than 700 delivered. Nobody is in jail. Nobody paid back a cedi. Rent is killing the average Ghanaian. Jesus Christ. 💔😭

We’ll Not Remove First Lady Oluremi Tinubu As An Ordained Pastor In The RCCG - Adeboye The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has stated that Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, will not be removed from her position as an ordained pastor in the church. Speaking during the monthly Holy Ghost Service today, Adeboye explained that Oluremi Tinubu was ordained as an Assistant Pastor more than ten years ago, long before her husband, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, showed any intention of running for the presidency. He emphasised that the First Lady went through the full process of ordination and has not violated any of the church’s guidelines. He added that the church will not bow to external pressure calling for her removal.
