Walkthrough is live on TinyLaunch today. A screen recorder you pay for once, $19, no subscription. Six months ago I was a pharmacist. Today the thing I've been quietly building is out in the world. If it sounds useful, an upvote would genuinely mean a lot 🙏 link below. tinylaunch.com/launch/14800

Builders, what's the part of your project that's quietly not working yet? Not the highlight reel. The thing you haven't cracked. Drop it below, half the time someone in the replies has already solved it.

Update: Walkthrough is sitting at #2 on TinyLaunch 🙏 genuinely did not expect that today. Built it with @hellojaibu. #1's in sight, every upvote closes the gap. Link below.

Every feature you add is a promise to maintain it forever. People talk about shipping like it's free, but you pay for it every month after, in attention. What's one feature you regret ever building?

@BatsouElef "Unqualified" turns out to be a status that only exists before you start. The work erases it retroactively, nobody asks if you were qualified once the thing exists and runs. Qualification was always the output, never the entry fee.

Many great developers you know got there by solving problems they were unqualified to solve until they actually did it....

True story: a client's website was losing mobile users and nobody knew why. Turned out their contact form didn't scroll properly on iOS. Tiny CSS issue. Huge impact. 40% of their traffic is mobile. They were basically invisible to almost half their visitors. Details matter more than features.

@BratDotAI Yeah. Early enough that nobody actually knows what they're doing yet, which is terrifying and the best possible time to be building. Good thread, you ask sharper questions than the framing first let on 🙏

@siddharthwv The $100 client mattered more than the $3.5k one. Not the money, the proof that someone would pay you at all. Everything after that is just raising the number. The hard part was crossing zero to one, and you already did the irreversible part.

My 1st client paid: $100/month Most recent: $3.5k/month My 1st month building my personal brand: +29 followers Most recent: +2000 followers in may. Everyone starts slow. Those who don't stop, win big.

@BratDotAI Right, but exponential and evenly distributed. The capability keeps doubling and the advantage keeps cancelling out. Fastest race in history where nobody gains a step.

@omarvvvr 100 in 75 days uploading to nobody watching is harder than the next 10,000 will be. The early ones where the view count mocks you are the real filter, most people quit there. You're already past the part that stops everyone. Congrats Man and keep going.

Finally… 75 days ago, I uploaded my first YouTube video. Today, we hit 100 subscribers. 🚀 Most people quit when nobody is watching. I kept uploading. I kept learning. And I kept improving. Over the last 5 months, I’ve: → Grown to 2,000 followers on X → Reached 5M+ impressions → Got my first X payout → Built a YouTube channel from scratch And I’m documenting everything I learn along the way. If you want to grow on X and build your personal brand online… Subscribe below. 👇

@clarefinds The hard part is that "worth sharing" gets decided at build time, not launch time. You can't market your way to it after. Either you put something in the product people can't stop describing to a friend, or no budget saves you later.

The best marketing is a product people talk about. Build something worth sharing

Most "I need to think about it more" is just fear wearing a lab coat. The thinking finished days ago, what's left is the doing, and the doing is the scary part. What are you currently "thinking about" that you already know you should just ship?

@BratDotAI I would go with interviewing the users and anything else later. This would tell me what was teh actual friction. The pricing can be fixed and features can be added later to that.

You launch and get 100 signups but zero payments. Your first move? - Fix pricing - Interview users - Add features - Find new traffic

@robj3d3 Congrats man, genuinely. The line that lands hardest isn't the $20k, it's "begging X for a job." Most people who make it quietly delete that chapter. Leaving it in is the whole reason the post works.

2 years ago all I was sitting on was failures. Begging X for a job just so I could survive. Today my SaaS is making $20k/mo and I'm living my dream lifestyle travelling the world while I build. Never forget that you can't lose if you don't quit. You can do it too.

I randomly came across this old post from @robj3d3 It's easy to forget people's journey while looking at their success, but this man has been more consistent that almost everyone here and he deserves all the success. Rooting for you Rob $100k MRR soon 💪
