After much reflection, and after it became clear to me that some UN seniors are serving a powerful lobby and not the UN, I have decided to suspend all my duties as PVA Main Representative at the UN and from all UN committees/groups of which I am a member. I cannot in good conscience be part of or witness to what is happening at a time when the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use. It has been an honor cooperating with the UN for nearly 12 years under different Secretaries-General and Human Rights Council Presidents, leading PVA delegation. May God bless this world.

⚡️🇺🇸U.S Senator Lindsey Graham on Gaza: Because what did we do in World War II? Did we think for one minute about starving the Germans? Did we bomb every city into smithereens? Yes, I am making that comparison. If you don’t understand that this is a threat to Israel — and they flatten Gaza — just flatten it. We flattened Berlin. We flattened Tokyo. Were we wrong to drop an atomic bomb to end the Japanese reign of terror? Were we? If I were Israel, I would have probably done it the same way. Without military victory, there is no hope of breaking radicalism. We flattened Germany. We flattened Japan.

By now, I’m sure many of you have watched this exchange between @CarriePrejean1 Carrie Prejean Boller and an American Jewish Zionist leader. I am deeply grateful for her courage. This confrontation sheds light on two issues that have shaped public discourse for years: the definition of Zionism, and the increasingly aggressive claim that being anti-Zionist is inherently anti-Semitic. I’m also grateful that more and more Americans are finally beginning to see the problem we have been pointing to for years: the attempt to impose one definition and one set of rules on the rest of the world—rules everyone is simply expected to accept without question. Let me be clear: the central problem with Zionism is not complicated. Zionism established a homeland for the Jewish people on someone else’s land. Palestine was not empty. This is not a theoretical debate for Palestinians. We are the people who have lived the consequences: dispossession, expulsion, fragmentation, military rule, and erasure—Muslims and Christians alike. (And yes, I have the same objection to any state built on an exclusive religious identity. A state should belong to all its people.) But Israel was founded on the land of others—and its exclusive identity continues to dismiss, marginalize, and erase half the population. What makes this even more troubling is that this project is repeatedly presented as something “Christian,” as if Christians are obligated to endorse it—something Carrie made clear she does not support as a Catholic. This is precisely why moments like this matter: they expose how the conversation is manipulated. Again and again, they mischaracterize what you are actually saying. Being anti-Zionist does not mean that Israel does not have the right to exist. Being anti-Zionist means Israel does not have the right to exist as a state built through the expulsion of Palestinians, and sustained by policies that treat Palestinians as second-class citizens—including, by the way, Palestinian Christians. So pay attention to the tactic: they try to change the rules of engagement by claiming you are calling for Israel’s destruction, when that is clearly not what you are saying. This is not confusion. It is a deliberate distortion meant to shut down the conversation, avoid accountability, and portray any critique as extremist. And there is another layer to this: the problem of what I can only call an imaginary Zionism—a Zionism that speaks as if Palestinians do not exist. It speaks about safety and refuge, but refuses to account for the people displaced for the project to succeed, and the price Palestinians continue to pay today—in the form of the genocide in Gaza. For Palestinians, Zionism is not an abstract identity debate. It is a political project with a clear history. Zionist leaders themselves spoke openly of “transfer.” They admitted the logic of removal. They named it. They defended it. And the world watched it happen. So let me ask plainly: as a Palestinian—on the receiving end of settler colonialism and ethnic cleansing—if I oppose Zionism, does that make me anti-Semitic? Of course not. And yet, this is what we have been dealing with. The IHRA definition of antisemitism—unfortunately adopted by many Christians without acknowledging its serious problems, especially when it comes to Zionism—has made honest conversation nearly impossible. In practice, it has functioned as a tool to police speech: to make any serious critique of Zionism, or any naming of Palestinian dispossession, immediately suspect. This is why I am grateful for Carrie’s courage. She refused to accept the imposed rules. She refused to allow a political ideology to redefine her faith. And she refused to allow Palestinian suffering to be erased. We need more of this moral clarity. Not to attack Jewish people, deny Jewish suffering, or trivialize antisemitism—which is real and deadly—but to insist that opposing an ideology of dispossession is not hatred, and that justice for Palestinians is not extremism. Because Palestine was not empty. And Palestinians—Christians and Muslims—are not invisible. Not then. Not now. And one final thing: Carrie wore a Palestinian flag. I want to say how much I appreciated that. We felt seen. In a session where Palestinian suffering was dismissed—and where even the reality of genocide was denied—that simple act of symbolism, of choosing to visibly affirm our humanity, meant more than many people realize.

Liberal and progressive institutions hypocrisy on Palestine is highlighting 2 things: 1. the fragility of our legal and ethical systems; 2. Israel & Zionist grips on our institutions (that they’ve always vehemently denied). Both need to be exposed. Thanks @OmarSShakir for sharing

I've resigned from @hrw after 10+ yrs—most as Israel/Palestine Director—after HRW's new ED pulled a finalized report on the right of return for Palestinian refugees on eve of its release & blocked for weeks its publication in a principled way. Full story: jewishcurrents.org/researchers-at…

Mona Juul and Terje Roed Larsen, the Norwegian husband and wife team that were the architects of the disastrous Oslo process (which side-stepped international law, devastated Palestinian rights for three decades, and consolidated the Israel regime’s unlawful position in Palestine), are revealed in the Epstein files as having close relations with (Mossad-adjacent Israel regime operative) Jeffrey Epstein, and taking personal loans from him, and their children were reportedly left $10 Million in Epstein’s will. Larsen also served as the UN’s chief envoy for the Middle East (UNSCO) (he was briefly my boss when I worked for the UN in Palestine in the 90s), and he was later forced to step down in scandal as head of the International Peace Institute due to his financial dealings with Epstein. I can’t prove that Israel has corrupted UN political officials working on Palestine, but I know that Larsen and his successors as UN envoys (UNSCO) all consistently prioritized Israel regime sensibilities over international law and the human rights of the Palestinian people. (Despite the best efforts of the UN’s human rights personnel with whom UNSCO has often been in conflict). Equally shockingly, Larsen’s most recent successor at UNSCO (Nickolay Mladenov) has even agreed to serve on Trump’s lawless, colonial “Board of Peace.”

⚠️ Dr. Dan Diker from the Jerusalem Center just dropped this bombshell on an X Space: Somaliland privately offered, & its president approved on December 20, to resettle up to 1.5 million Palestinians forcibly displaced from Gaza. Israel recognized Somaliland six days later on December 26. He calls it a "very generous offer" for stability. A "generous" resettlement of nearly Gaza's entire population is not diplomacy or humanitarianism. This is ethnic cleansing wrapped in a recognition deal. Israel did not suddenly discover Somaliland's "self-determination." It bought a dumping ground for Palestinians with a diplomatic stamp. The mask is off. #Gaza #Somaliland #Palestine
Jamal@SSCK305

On Dec 28, 2025 X Space, Dr. Dan Diker (Jerusalem Center president) said the secessionist “Somaliland” clan enclave in northwest Somalia privately offered and approved (by its president Dec 20) to resettle up to 1.5 million Palestinians forcibly displaced from their ancestral lands in #Gaza into its breakaway territory. Israel recognized it days later (Dec 26).

AIPAC is now apparently having their donors give money to candidates "directly" (through some shady backchannel), rather than through their own organization. This allows them to avoid the stigma of being "AIPAC-funded." "The site appears to be using Democracy Engine LLC as the vendor, meaning they may be able to skirt FEC requirements to 'earmark' the donation, but what's also clear is that donors are being sent this link from AIPAC driving donations without any transparency of that happening," Matthew Eadie reports.
Matthew Eadie@mattheweadie22

NEW: I've obtained TWO emails sent directly from AIPAC on Aug. 21 and Sept. 15 fundraising for State Sen. Laura Fine in IL-09 Both emails include links to a hidden webpage called "pro-Israel Network" with live (and hidden) donation pages. But the homepage to the site is dead 🧵

For those asking about noise on NBC, Fox News & other news, tomorrow— as Israel’s forced starvation of Gaza continues to claim lives of Palestinian babies—a press conference will shed light on the protests demanding US media stop manufacturing consent for Israel’s war crimes.
