@John_J_Marlin By the way... It takes decade(s) to build a nuclear program in "uranium" enrichment... Especially to the 60% iran is reportedly at.. and guess what... That 60 can get to 90 in weeks and fit that into a ballistic warhead and in months... Nuclear site warhead testing lol

Just wanted to remind folks, especially the GOP and the FDD, that Barack Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal didn’t give Iran control of the Strait of Hormuz or allow it to keep 60% enriched uranium. It sent $1.7 billion to Iran versus the tens of billions Iran will now make from tolls. 🤷🏽‍♂️

@mehdirhasan Well there's no deal yet.. How come you are certain trump is letting Iran keep 60% enriched uranium... Anything over 5% is weapon chasing... Trump went to war for that and we all know iran won't get a negotiation that will see them pull out with nuclear warheads

@Heisrainn We already had a deal to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons. It was called the JCPOA, and Trump tore it up because he hated Obama so much. All of this could have been prevented if Trump wasnt so incompetent.

@jonkarl The tolls will be collected in US dollars. Iranian oil will be sold in US dollars. Huge boost to petrodollar. This brings Iran to Western table which over the long term away from Russia/China. And US will jointly control the Strait. Not a Trump fan but this long term is a win.

Then he looks like a loser who throws around empty threats, and he will actually have to follow through on military escalation. Even if he will not nuke Iran—which he won’t—he will need to escalate the attacks to not look weak. That’s the problem.
