Rewatching the Togepi hatching episode and Misty is the absolute last person who should have gotten it. She basically stole it. Think about the breakdown: • Ash found the egg during the Aerodactyl attack. • Brock actually took the time to nurture and care for it. • Even Meowth loved and nurtured the egg! • Ash literally won the tournament for the rights to keep it. Misty's only contribution was shoving Ash and Brock out of the way at the exact second it hatched so it would imprint on her. Who do you think really deserved Togepi?

I don't think storage IS the issue. I think it's the human desire to have everything and clear everything. I doubt the devs didn't think of this, and still chose to keep it this way. I don't agree with I necessarily but every time an item limit hits, and that "BONK" noise goes, I reflect on my hoarding nature

If they are consistent with Builders 2, no unlimited storage just get better (unfortunate since I never have...) they did have infinite supplies like sticks and shit so I am surprised we don't have that but that's probably what the dream islands are for as a replacement for getting unlimited mats. I considered making a pyramid and having that be my item storage area. Or making a bank vault

@PKMSN_CN That being said, if you have let's say 56 pokemon ON an island you only show 30 and if you want your other one that ISNT there you need the Honey to force spawn them and another Pokémon is replaced for the one you want that's how it seems.

I read it is 30 Max at any point on the island. In this case let's say you build a shopping center or rebuild the SS Anne, the Anne may have 15 people to keep it bustling but then the villa has 6 and the entrance or shopping district has the rest. They will all wander regardless but I think the real benefit to having the homes is summoning your "team" when you need them. I use homes as quick calls for types I need (burn, fly, gather etc etc).

My coldest take is if your game sucks for its first 8 hours then it sucks period.

Despite the lack of sales on DQB2, it is still one of my favorite games for building. The benefit and advantage to Pokemon is that they have their own unique abilities and the unique habitats versus the room types and adjusting clothing for unique creations in Builders. If people want more advanced version of Pokopia, I think they will trickle into Builders 2, and for those who cannot afford nor want to buy a Switch 2 and Pokopia, I would suggest Builders 2 while they wait.

@TrevixWaux i think thats because there's a dlc in mind to expand the game or they really didnt expect so many to jump in and be ultra explorers in this one since their DQ wasn't that huge

Pokopia is certified peak & a must-own for every Switch 2 owner, IMO. 🔥 This isn’t even the type of game I usually play, but Pokopia somehow got me enjoying every second of it. The devs went ALL OUT and deserve every bit of praise 👏

I played Builders and Builders 2 for years, seen many builds and adopted my own play style and build style. Without end game abilities it can take a while with them it can drastically cut the time in a quarter. Sometimes it takes planning: "Am I playing to do story or playing to build today" you can get frustrated and distracted easily so I would focus on one thing at a time if possible when building a full scale village. I, in Builders, would look at old Dragon Quest maps to see how their town layouts looked then incorporated realistic things to my liking. I've taken a full day without planning, and less than a few hours with planning and end game skill

how long does it take these people realistically to do something like this?? bc i take a whole day just trying to do some water canals with no builds

Houses only need to be one block high the issue some people have with the world is it looks too much for "humans" so using the one block technique you can make second story and third story high homes and structures using just a wooden gate and figuring out how to make the second level and basements look organic. In this sense you could make a field a "home" and bury into the ground or build into the sky adding something of a tiered building structure. "Supported" by pillars (though they could be hanging and floating in place if you choose) Builders needed 2 blocks high to register a home, thank goodness we don't need that mess here.

My favorite Pokopia trick I learned from Planet Zoo is to build facades around prefab buildings! That way you can keep the extra space and features of prefab buildings but customize it to fit the look of your area :)
