The first player basically had a nervous convulsion upon looking at her cards, then went all in. hellmuth looked at his cards for one second and immediately went all in. Then the two of them started high-fiving each other, and the first player was literally telling her husband she has aces and starts dancing. I agree this was the best time ever to fold kings.

Thinking of Eden Yerushalmi today. She was one of the ‘beautiful six’ executed point-blank by Hamas as their rescue was imminent. And gosh, she was indeed so beautiful. Regardless of my newfound disdain for International Women’s Day, I will remember her on it every year. Her memory is a blessing.

I wouldn’t be tipping at all. My wife and I always fake an emergency about a sick child at home just before the bill comes. We assure our guests that we’ll “get the next one,” then never speak to them ever again. We save thousands per year doing this. And we don’t even have a kid.

Random, but Sam Kinison’s last words are bizarre and I think about them often. On April 10th, 1992, a drunk 17-year-old kid swerved to pass a car in front of him and hit Sam Kinison head on. Sam’s friend (and fellow comedian) Carl LaBove was there. LaBove said Kinison looked towards the sky and spoke as if he was having a conversation: ‘I don’t want to die. I don’t want to die.’ (pause) ‘But why?’ (long pause) ‘Okay… okay… okay.’ And then he took his last breath and passed on. Wild, ain’t it? The teen pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and received: • 1 year probation • 300 hours of community service • Driver’s license suspended for 2 years Crazy to think that there’s possibly some 52 year old man still out there that killed Sam Kinison. Rest in peace to the GOAT.
