Berlin in 1961 captures a dramatic split-second moment as a young soldier suddenly leaps over a roll of barbed wire dividing East and West Berlin, frozen in midair during his daring escape from the communist East. Just days earlier, the border had been sealed overnight, cutting streets in half and separating families who had lived side by side for generations. The soldier, later identified as Conrad Schumann, had been stationed to guard the barrier when he made the life-changing decision to run toward freedom. As photographers captured the exact moment of his jump, the image quickly became one of the most powerful symbols of the Cold War. It represented not only a personal escape but also the desperation of those trapped behind the growing barriers that would soon become the Berlin Wall.

A lot are mentioning the Arditi because of the BF1 campaing and I should probably clarify that:
1- The BF1 MP sentinel is wearing a German "elephant mask" and sappenpanzer (breastplate), the latter supplied to sentries (or machine gunners meant to stay in the trench).
2- I know much less about The Arditi, to my knowledge they were more akin to stormtroopers and mostly operated light and not heavily armored. Afaik the italians posing in armor are mostly sappers (which may be part of the arditi or asigned with them, but I might be wrong here).

@Knightly_Hist No worries, it's a common mistake people make because the Farina armor is obviously more associated with the Italians than with the Belgians, and not many people know much about the latter either

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European alliesโ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given whatโs at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollahโs nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.
