A quick note since people are talking about practicality.
In the early modern period you had modular armor, exchange a helmet, a pair of sleeves, a visor, a CREST, and suddenly a "cerimonial armor" is suited for war.
Only the crest in the armor from the vid is impractical.

Hopefully the chapter pack for the iron hands specifies these things

@Knightly_Hist The first 3 Pirates films are up there with Star Wars OT, LOTR, Indiana Jones. Not equal in quality but just as fun to watch. The soundtrack, the sets and the costume design are all top notch. It's impossible to watch them and not want to set sail immediately.
