Look man some fetish stuff is mad covert these days. Back when I used to post on some other sites, if I drew a really wide or heavy looking mech, some people would put it in their clearly labeled fat fetish watch lists or folders lol. Fat is an abstract concept now.

yup, his mission to kill homelander or the supes should be self-destructive because of his means not the end goal, forcing Hughie to pull the trigger on him works but I dunno, him using a power that will just kill him, alienate and maybe even maim his friends in the process would be much more compelling.

S4 and 5 are both basically Homelander journey to godhood and you don’t need 2 seasons for that. And I think dying Butcher is more compelling than Discount Venom Butcher from S5

Him getting the same powers as homelander was great because it reinforced the idea that he's becoming what he sought to destroy.
Were the writers not asleep at the wheel Frenchie or MM would've died to a stray laser.

@HaughtyImperia2 Probably honestly by that point I wasn't really paying too much attention to the balance of power, ever since their endgame for the finale of Season 2 was "let's just grab some guns and go kill them" I knew this would be an undercooked aspect of the show.

@Knightly_Hist From a power scaling perspective I have to disagree. It makes no sense to me that homelander couldn’t simply laser butcher and kimiko to death.

@Knightly_Hist I think they could’ve combined those seasons without bringing back Soldier Boy and stuff. S3 ending with a major hero death leading into a final season works better.

This is not me arguing in favour of some sort of Polish superiority, western European lancers were capable of the same thing.

Trying to frame the Ottoman army as some kind of slouch is crazy but at Kirkcholm (1605) and Klushino (1610) they proved more than capable of crushing western style infantry and cavalry.
On the field they were an exemplary cavalry force.

@PatrickDusablon @beakieenjoyer I saw those vids go viral for the first time (?) of a bunch of guys doing sharp longsword in helmets and gauntlets, getting stitches live on video too.
I hope it all ended at "stupid guys having stupid fun" and that they're all doing fine

@Knightly_Hist @beakieenjoyer I remember Holmgang Hamburg fencing with sharp longsword, with zero protection, in the 2005-2010 timeframe. Ended VERY badly number of times.

@Hillebard2 Except I didn't, I was deliberate in my wording as to not misrepresent the case.
Polish hussars went toe to toe with western style cavalry and infantry, and proved capable of defeating those units.

@Knightly_Hist Shuisky's army was 30K russians supported by De la Gardies 5K mercinary corps (who mostly made it out).
Calling Klushino a victory over westerners is a big stretch.
