The other @Ardbeg drams that I had on Thursday at the @HopVault were similarly top notch. Thanks tp my good mate @ardbaggie for supplying the bottles and talking through his passion for Ardbeg. All that for £30 - that's value at its very best. Bravo to all concerned

This old style @Ardbeg 10, that I had on Thursday night, at the @HopVault in Stourbridge courtesy of @Ardbaggie was just a stunning dram. Rumoured to contain 14 yo Ardbeg, and dating back to around 2000, this is a triumph of the whisky makers art.

Finally got my hands on this set from @neonraptorbrew , thanks to @HopVault

@greenduckbrew @elle_hunt We had a regular customer who would come in order a pint of the impy, and sit and read his book for an hour. 🤷🏻‍♂️ But yeah, you get one chance to play that game well, otherwise you don’t get to play it again 😂👎🏻🚫

@timeforabrewpod @trackbrewco All Night AF and @LHGBrewingco Run Free are easily the best AF pales in our opinion. Mash Gang Stoop is a pretty good lager. I quite like @DonzokoBeer tiny foam too.

@BeerNouveau @9SquirrelsBrew @JollyGoodBeer JGB Used to have a pretty good system of term length dependent discounting. 7 day direct debit got you 4% off (i think). Only problem with pro-forma is if the guy who pays the invoices is offline and you can’t get something paid in time for shipping. But yeah. Generally agree.

@PollysArron Of course you could just get some VC money and half your prices like a real company. Selling things at a profit will get you nowhere if you’re not losing money on every can you’re not growing quick enough.

@PollysArron Who - that is contemporary to you - is doing core beers for less than £80 a keg?! I guess this is just the choice you’re faced with if you want to become mainstream and take the trail blazed by NM and their ilk. Be mediocre or be small. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@oldmudgie @Beervana Also the “if you can’t sell X of Y in Z then what’s the point?” argument can be a little short sighted. Some ppl only drink X - if you lose them you may also lose the group they were coming with. If something lets you offer X and keep that group it may be commercially prudent.
