@DarranPearce For what it’s worth I’ve spoke with him this morning and he’s gutted, he’s received horrendous abuse over social media and is aware on reflection he should have pulled up however in the heat of the moment with the race at their mercy he carried on it’s an error of judgement

This ban was fully deserved. It was disgraceful that Charlie continued to complete the race and it was a terrible look for the hunter chases

Extremely sad postscript to see Envoi Allan collapse after the Gold Cup. A legend in every single way. He lit up Cheltenham on so many occasions. So very sorry to his connections 😔

Don't normally post about things like this but have to say, losing Envoi Allen like that has ruined the whole festival for me. Not sure he should have been in the race and if he had to run, why not pulled up when all chance had gone. Sick to my stomach RIP Envoi Allen #legend

This has to be a wind up at this point surely? Adding temporary stables to get constitution hill into the race, now we have a bloody cinema trailer for said race…. An all weather flat race at Southwell. Comical.
