I like that Tuchel interview, too. Wins and not happy. Wants more. Will get more out of the team.

@LoveBerg10kamp It feels different to me, perhaps from a tactical point of view. The subs and changes Tuchel make seem more decisive and purposeful. We seem to have more grit in pressured situations. Maybe that opinion isn’t shared, which is fine, but definitely feels different to me

@Tomptin How can you say that? England under Southgate beat Denmark in the same manner in 2020 Scraped thru vs Slovakia, Switzerland and the Dutch in the same manner in 2024 I don’t see any difference from what Tuchel is doing to what Southgate did Only brilliant individual rescuing

Get in! Big win. That's two victories in a row that we wouldn't have got with the previous set-up. Thought Djed Spence was very good, Reece James too. Bellingham and Anderson stars of the show, obviously. Let's see if we're facing Argentina...

@maxcouch Gary, we weren’t even talking about Balogun. It’s very difficult to converse with someone who’s coming across angry and switching topics, so I’m going to leave this one here. Have a good rest of your evening

@calummcclurkin Quite refreshing to hear a Scotsman say that, to be fair! Respect. Let’s see how far we get, and who we get next

@Tomptin Best of luck. Generational achievement to be competitive and have a winning World Cup chance. Was generational for me when Scotland actually made a Finals. These are the levels and this is the game. There’s nothing not to like about this England team. It’s a good group of players

@maxcouch Nothing like going all out, Gary. Blimey. Relax. I would give you exactly the same response if the ball supposedly hit the wirecam for a goal another team scored. I don’t deal in conspiracies

@Tomptin True and entitled to celebrate it. Absolutely. That just looked another very attritional game to me against an imminently beatable opponent. Your manager is the trump card. Excellent operator. I just wonder how much is left in the tank now.

@maxcouch It’s either listen to what their sensor reports, or make a random opinion based on a pixelated video. The ‘smart’ call there Gary is to do the former

@calummcclurkin Big win in terms of the moment. And obviously make a semi-final, which is near to winning a world cup, for what it’s worth. That being said. I’ve long held the opinion that France will probably win it all. We need much better to beat them. But give us a minute to celebrate..

@Tomptin I don’t think it was a big win and I don’t think there’s anything left under the bonnet for England to get anywhere near winning a World Cup. There in sufferance to me. But we’ll see.

@joekirley Yeah, indeed. Bobb and Nusa are above average wingers, in fairness, both tricky. And we were definitely tired. But sure. Tuchel has proved he's more than capable at fixing situations (stopped Haaland today etc) so hopefully those adjustments will be made

@Tomptin I thought England was good in extra time when they played with 4 attackers If I'm Tuchel I'm very worried at the space Oscar Bobb was creating and knowing that is likely to be a two of Messi/Mbappe/Yamal in those spaces It was a lot of room at times

@Tomptin Norway were robbed in 90mins. I can’t help but think any side with a bit of class should be far too good for that England side. The only thing is there are very few top international sides around these days the big exception being France

Hardly an inspiring first-half performance from England aside from Bellingham and his goal. Got to start playing forward. Drive at them. Play between the lines. Who had the worst 45 minutes out of the four below? 'All of them' is an applicable answer.
