I live the issues in this race. As the only renter, I’ve moved 8 times just to keep up. When I talk affordability, I don't guess. I’m living it. This campaign is about changing the status quo. Not just opposing Trump–building something better. We don’t owe this seat to anyone.

To all the “yes” voters out there: does it not totally disgust you that Democrats are already bickering over a seat that doesn’t even exist yet? They’re spending tons of money because they assume that voters are just going to do whatever they say. Does that not make absolutely clear that this is just about shameless political opportunism and has nothing to do with “fairness”?

This started as something ordinary… a woman calling an Uber to go to the store. Within minutes, it turned into a high-speed pursuit, a rolling gunfight, and an attempted execution. Not robbery. Not conflict. Not survival. Pure predatory violence. Two teenagers… armed with automatic weapons… chasing down a stranger through city streets at over 100 miles per hour. That is not desperation. That is conditioning. Listen to the details carefully… They didn’t stop after the crash. They didn’t flee when the car flipped. They got out… approached a burning vehicle… and opened fire again. Yesterday, I visited @FoodbankSEVA to celebrate federal funding I secured for its new facility. I also had a productive discussion with leaders in the region working to address food insecurity. It's clear we still have more to do, especially after Republicans slashed SNAP benefits.
