I live the issues in this race. As the only renter, I’ve moved 8 times just to keep up. When I talk affordability, I don't guess. I’m living it. This campaign is about changing the status quo. Not just opposing Trump–building something better. We don’t owe this seat to anyone.

To all the “yes” voters out there: does it not totally disgust you that Democrats are already bickering over a seat that doesn’t even exist yet? They’re spending tons of money because they assume that voters are just going to do whatever they say. Does that not make absolutely clear that this is just about shameless political opportunism and has nothing to do with “fairness”?

Yesterday, I visited @FoodbankSEVA to celebrate federal funding I secured for its new facility. I also had a productive discussion with leaders in the region working to address food insecurity. It's clear we still have more to do, especially after Republicans slashed SNAP benefits.
