Man Rips Womans Skin from Her Throat... Because of Mac & Cheese. A 25-year-old man from Rolla, Missouri, is sitting in jail after police say a simple argument over who got to eat the macaroni and cheese turned violent and left a woman with skin ripped from her throat. It all went down on March 30th, just before 6 p.m., at a residence where the woman works. She cooked dinner that included mac and cheese for Steven Wolfe and another person staying there, according to police reports. Wolfe got upset and told her the mac and cheese was only his, court documents say. When she tried to explain it was for everybody, he allegedly grabbed her, pinned her against the wall, and clawed right at her throat. She had just gotten a new tattoo there about five days earlier. He reportedly ripped the skin off, leaving a roughly three-inch laceration and blood running down the front of her shirt. Officers noted scratch marks on her back too. The victim managed to break free, and Wolfe simply sat back down at the kitchen table and started using his tablet, according to what police were told by witnesses. Another employee who saw the attack called authorities right away. When Rolla police arrived, the woman was still conscious and talking but said she couldn't really move her neck. She told them exactly what happened, and they documented the injuries on the spot. Wolfe now faces one count of first-degree assault causing serious physical injury. He's being held in the Phelps County Jail on a $250,000 bond.

Spoke to an RN that approves VA disability. She says she thinks that 80% of it is fake. Veterans can come in and say they have tension headache or their back hurts, and are coached by attorneys, and they get up to 100% disability, including not paying property tax and getting $4-5k/month from the government — when in reality they’re completely fine. In fact, the RNs are paid an incentive via quotas to diagnose veterans with a disability and paid less if they don’t. I’m not saying there aren’t people who legitimately don’t have disabilities from serving our country, but folks who have never seen combat and are literally sitting at desks are getting 100% disability. It’s pretty insane. Does that make you mad? What if you could get the same disability working for a company?

@maximumpain333 I generally agree. But I honestly felt the few times where I got a full 6-8 hours uninterrupted sleep, I woke up feeling magical. So I do think a few full 8 hours sleep is still very helpful. You just don't need it every single night. Maybe once or twice a week.
