@JamesHu27192912@mtate32 While I do think you should be allowed to hubt with dogs, deer hunters who use dogs (the ones I've met) are scum. They often starve their dogs for days before a hunt in an effort to make them "more driven" to chase the deer. This is nothing short of animal abuse.
Buried inside the Farm Bill is an amendment backed by 29 members of Congress that would effectively ban hunting with dogs nationwide. No hounds for bear, no rabbit dogs, no coonhunting, no field trials.
It was pushed through on a voice vote, disguised as an anti-greyhound racing bill while the real impact on hunting was barely discussed. This is a direct attack on one of the oldest hunting traditions in America.
We need to stop it now. Call your representatives and demand this amendment be removed from the Farm Bill. Make it clear hunters are paying attention.
If we let this slide, it wonโt stop here. We cannot let this happen

The Winchester lever action wasn't introduced until 1866. The civil war ended in 1865. The predecessor to the Winchester, the Henry, was around for the civil war being invented in 1860. I would guess that manufacturing constraints were the main reason the Henry wasnt standard issue.
@InfernalForged@Pixie1z Dumbest motive ever.
Thought experiment:
At one point in the past there were exactly 1/2 the people in the Marvel universe "now", which inevitably led to "now".
So eliminating 1/2 of everybody just resets the clock: the cycle will continue.
#Marines assigned to Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) participate in an MV-22B Osprey tactics exercise as part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor course 2-26, near Yuma, Arizona.
WTI is a seven-week training event hosted by MAWTS-1 which emphasizes operational integration of the seven functions of Marine aviation in support of the Marine Air Ground Task Force, Joint and Coalition Forces.

All. Of. Them.
I don't care why they are here. I don't care if they were running from something. They need to go.
When doing something for ones own personal gain, the HOW is more important than the WHY and the WHAT put together. There is a legal way to come into this country, that is the ONLY acceptable way.
For me, its a hard no. If I am going to carry a firearm, I will have positive control over it at all times. Either hulstered or slinged it will be controlled by me. It is too easy to steal or drop a backpack or messenger bag (purse) for me to take even that marginal risk with my firearms.
@WomenBeingAwful Nope. My tolerance for the crazy/hot scale is at 0. I don't care if you're an 1000/10 if you're a 1/10 on the crazy scale I dont want it.
@EastTNMama Personally I would leave everything i could and only clear what NEEDS to be cleared. Nature is a beautiful thing and should be allowed to take its course. Those rotting trees are habitat to everything from bugs to rabbits to squirrels and much more.
The thing about woods. Do you let everything rot and decompose or clear it out? Some of the spots are pretty rough looking, but no one is looking bc the woods are mine.
Thinking about that time one of my Soldiers clogged the toilet so bad they had tear apart the road in front of the building with heavy equipment to fix the pipe.
We didnโt have work for the entire week.
@marty_hogan Been out 11 years now. Still find sand in mine. I have turned them inside out, beaten them like an old rug, sprayed them with the hose... still sand no idea where it comes from.
