Hello 👋 Its been a minute! Hope your all keeping well in this wintery weather ❄️ I had a trainee and have put all my time into that, I'm happy to say they received their license just before Xmas. First drive of 2026 and a wee trip to Inverness and back was on the cards.

@InksonLiam I did the Empire State first thing in the morning then the Rock at sunset. The latter has glass walls so it's an unobstructed view.

First time going to New York in two weeks time 🗽 🇺🇸 Any do's/don'ts and must sees? Appreciate all and any help 🙏

@InksonLiam Top of the Rockefeller centre. I've found if you want to do the Empire State it's best to go up first thing.

@1Pedro5 Wow! Thanks for that! Will definitely have a look at everything you've mentioned. Will be a great start point for the itenary.

@InksonLiam Too many bars to mention mate. Iron bar near Times Square and carraghers are my fav. Have a look and see what sport or gig is on at MSG. Best way by far to get about is the subway. Highly recommend using that. Try and see some of Brooklyn as well.

@InksonLiam Museums and the big attractions such as tall buildings will be quiet. Intrepid is good. Staten Island Ferry is worth it and is then a nice base for exploring the southern end of Manhattan.

@ScottishPaddler Have heard about the highline. Is it quite busy at certain times?

@InksonLiam Walk the High Line if the weather is ok - fascinating to see the routes of the old railway lines going in to buildings at first floor (+) level & it's a really nice walk.
