Suburban shariah law: 1. If I have to text something to a wife, I send it to her husband and he shares it with her. Or, I send to a group chat they’re both a part of. 2. I never enter a neighbor’s house if the husband is not at home. 3. If trying to coordinate a play date, I either talk to the husband, share invite with him, or make sure the wives connect and sort it out. 4. I do not add wives as Facebook friends unless I’m already friends with the husband and they invite me first. (Would be rude otherwise). Otherwise leave invite pending. 5. If contractors need to come to the house when I am not home, I plan to meet them there.
