🚨🚨Breaking News🚨🚨
Poppy has a discharge date. They could get her home earlier, but given how many setbacks she has had along the way they want to be absolutely sure none of the weaning is going to create more issues. So the tentative date for Ms. Poppy to head home will be July 15th. The next few weeks will consist of weaning her meds to every 8 hours and mom and I completing our training for the trach and G tube as well as doing our overnight stays with Poppy to prove we can take care of her without the nurses.
26 days until Poppy comes home.
