It's very telling that an event that would shine a light on the harms of porn made the TQ+ community feel so seen/unsafe. In not wanting the dots to be joined they've told us just how joined the dots are... & to a much broader audience.

Everyone turning out to demonstrate around the UK today does so with gratitude for the patience and persistence of For Women Scotland. We thank them for their work and their nerve to challenge their government on behalf of all women in the UK.

We have women of all parties and women of none in our membership Huw. That includes Plaid women by the way. We don't support any particular party, and we certainly don't defend any Particular party either. We examine their manifestos and their commitment to implementing the Supreme Court judgment and publish this. Are you seriously not aware of the misogyny in Plaid? Or their stance on self ID? Or the fact that they support men having a right to enter women's private spaces? Or that many party members are afraid to challenge the stance of the party leadership on this? Are you aware that they campaigned for men to be included as 'women' on candidate lists for females? And by the way, we have written to them many times, asked for meetings, offered briefings, tried to work with them. We invited them to a high level briefing on the Supreme Court judgment, which was held at the Senedd last year. Not a single Plaid MS or staffer bothered to attend. When you see photos of us with ANY party reps, be aware that we actually invited ALL party reps. We would be delighted if Plaid changed their stance. And we are happy to explain more to you so that you understand what is happening. Perhaps YOU need to ask THEM why they aren't listening.

Kennedy wishes for Jenni Murray's grave to be treated as a 'gender-neutral bathroom'. Kennedy is an important figure in academic trans activism in the UK.

As a gender fluid person, I'm sometimes "Dad" and sometimes "Mum". Therefore I insist that my children refer to me as "Dum". Not only have the kids complied, I've even heard some of my gender critical colleagues refer to me this way. It's so refreshing to be taken seriously.

@JournalistJill @MerchedCymru Throughout Wales the Welsh government has financed a number of these 8-25 groups. We’ve asked safeguarding questions about the group in Dwansea and contacted Swansea Council’s safeguarding team about it, but apparently all is fine.

What would an 8yo tomboy girl have in common with a 25yo man who likes the thought of himself with breasts? And why would ANYONE think it a smart idea to put them together in the same ‘youth group’?

💥We’ve been granted permission to take a judicial review on Hampstead Ponds! We were initially turned down for judicial review after the City Corporation tried to get away without having to defend the lawfulness of its policy. Now the Court of Appeal has overturned that judgment, recognising that “expert charities” such as Sex Matters have standing to bring claims for judicial review and called the City of London’s arguments in defence of its “trans inclusive” policy “brief and unpersuasive”.
