I asked Adam - a former Indy journalist- why he supported girls being punched by boys in a boxing club. After a rather protracted and amusing (well, to me anyway) exchange, this was the best he could come up with.

@TheTransTroll And yet the boxing organisation chose not to. So it's nothing to do with Sex Matters and everything to do with a choice by the boxing organisation to deny girls a chance in order to appease boys. Sounds patriarchal to me.

Sex matters still shutting women’s events down, well done🙄 We want to protect women and children, ok this was their chance to learn to do that we know that disadvantaged girls/ women suffer from violence more, than normal
