U.S. Tomahawk attack near/next to the Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school in Minab, on February 28, 2026,which killed over 165 people (including many children and teachers) during attacks on an adjacent IRGC naval base. Some of the reports paint the picture of teachers as dead and Zohreh is not the only name that has not been extensively covered by major outlets, yet similar cases of victims have been shared on social media.

Trump killed Zohreh in Iran. She was not a threat. She was an elementary school teacher in Minab. She was pregnant. Trump’s Tomahawk missile killed her and her unborn baby.

@SweeneySteve We won’t be displaced permanently, we’ll return to our homes and to our land even if we have to crawl for miles, and live in tents while we build back what this temporary Zionist entity had destroyed. The south is where every southern will live and die and be buried

Israel says it is bombing bridges to disrupt Hezbollah supply lines. But on the ground the reality is stark: entire routes into southern Lebanon are being severed — effectively cutting off around 1 million people from their homes. Families who have lived on this land for generations now face the very real risk of permanent displacement, unable to return, rebuild, or even reach what remains of their communities. What is being framed as a military tactic is also reshaping the map of civilian life

@bob_esfanji1 @snipergurg @turtlebro89 I know this, but many other Iranians don’t. They see those accounts so much and the support they get and think most Kurds agree. It would be good to make the accounts of other Kurds known too

I never said supporting I said minimizing. Any time something is brought up that is done people say well that side does this too. Which yes hold both accountable but when it’s done like this on either side it helps nobody in the end with accountability. I am already aware of what accounts post and don’t agree with many posts at all even global news accounts posted that video today and it’s being used out of context which shouldn’t happen.

@bob_esfanji1 @snipergurg @turtlebro89 they see the accounts of parties and non Iranian and secessionist Kurds a lot more. I get a mix because I intentionally look for it. Even I’ve gotten annoyed by a lot of the popular accounts’ posts for focusing on shah instead of Iranians

@bob_esfanji1 @snipergurg @turtlebro89 Everything I’ve written about them destroying businesses has been negative. If you want to read it as supporting it, then ok. What the parties are posting is just making the division worse, and many people don’t know that many Iranian Kurds dislike the parties too because

@bob_esfanji1 @snipergurg @turtlebro89 But just as Kurds didn’t like how we were all silent about them destroying a business in London because it comes off as supporting it, the parties’ opinions being unchallenged is viewed similarly. The lack of opposing views on both sides makes the divide worse

@ItbeCan @turtlebro89 You might not have intended to excuse it, but framing it as “rumors” and “tone it down” does minimize what actually happened. We can acknowledge there are bad actors on both sides but there has been clear targeting by them on even other Iranians who just held WLF flags.

@snipergurg @bob_esfanji1 @turtlebro89 A lot of differences in ideas are tolerable and fine. I differ from monarchists because I do think some for of a republic would work for Iran. But the mojahedin alliance, the consequences will come when people in Iran look back to see who did what.

@bob_esfanji1 @turtlebro89 I didn’t excuse them for it. Going after someone like that off a rumor or whatever reason is absolutely wrong. Going based of a rumor makes them also idiots

@ItbeCan @turtlebro89 So a rumour excuses their act to come and commit a hate crime? It’s not just about “toning it down” or even verifying anything or not. That should never happen or be done in the first place by anyone.

@snipergurg @bob_esfanji1 @turtlebro89 Aligning with Mojahedin is the same thing they did with Saddam. They can call it “pragmatic,” but it’s damaging their credibility heavily. Especially when they start to parrot Mojahedin talking points

@ItbeCan @bob_esfanji1 @turtlebro89 None of the Kurdish parties are reformist. The only ones who aligned with mojahed for pragmatic reasons is because they claim they will grant them autonomy. pahlavi can’t even pretend to grant them that. pahlavis inner circle is also comprised of reformists

@snipergurg @bob_esfanji1 @turtlebro89 As I said I’ve seen a lot of questionable IR sounding comments from both sides. The distrust for the parties tho, comes from what they post themselves. It’s not just about separatism, but the partnership with mojahedin

@bob_esfanji1 @turtlebro89 Ik, that was due to them relying on some rumor and not bothering to verify if it even was correct or not. A lot of them need to tone it down

Yeah there are bad actors on both sides but I haven’t really seen any Kurdish people irl go and attack Iranian owned businesses just because they had a lion and sun flag. I’ve seen more monarchists actually attack Kurdish owned businesses for having their own flag on display even if they weren’t Kurds from Iran.

Maybe it’s because of the rise of discrimination and tokenization that has started from one side to cause many others to say that. I only noticed it because of how discriminatory people were in calling them “Arab” or “Iraqi” even calling other Kurds from Iran that, just cause they don’t align with them politically. It’s become a whole chaos on both sides now, but it’s not like it didn’t start out of no where. That needs to be acknowledged.

@bob_esfanji1 @turtlebro89 I know their reasons aren’t about trust, but difference in what they want. The same way I don’t trust many Kurdish parties claims of “democracy,” because it ends up sounding exactly like Mojahedin’s vague ideas. It might be best for everyone to know where they belong

@turtlebro89 @bob_esfanji1 It’s more than distrust. The very vocal ones on here absolutely are secessionists. Whenever someone posts about us toning down the Kurdish secession accusations, they should up and say they actually are. They’re absolutely not helping de escalate the situation

@ItbeCan @bob_esfanji1 Some Kurds are probably aligning with MEK because they distrust Pahlavi, and I can’t blame them. They didn’t have linguistic or cultural rights under the Shah. And MEK is lying to them saying they’ll grant them autonomy.

Tbh personally I don’t think they’re a minority as large marches and videos online of their hate crimes is high concern. Even when you bring up wanting a different form of governance system and wanting to vote for that a lot of them won’t want to hear your opinion online or irl. The minority to me are the respectful ones actually in all my encounters both online and irl.
