@stjernepat43699 Yes, we need to try it before defining it.

@ItsShalomTechy Real effort and specific questions open doors most think are locked.

I'm not someone who usually messages strangers.
But last week I started DMing people who had already built strong personal brands.
Founders.
Indie hackers.
Builders making money online.
I expected silence.
Instead, they replied.
And they were brutally direct.
No motivational quotes.
No vague advice.
Just straight feedback.
"Do more replies."
"Your positioning isn't clear."
"Show what you build."
The internet makes successful people feel unreachable.
But most builders are very willing to help serious learners.
Especially when your questions are real.
Access isn't the problem.
Effort is.

Last week I had a Twitter conversation that felt off.
Someone replied to my comment.
Then kept replying.
Then asked to move to DMs.
Every message followed the same pattern:
Appreciation.
Question.
Another question.
No personal insight.
No story.
No experience shared.
Just endless questions.
It felt like talking to ChatGPT.
I still don't know if it was a human or a bot.
But the interaction taught me something about real conversations.
Authentic exchange isn't one person extracting from another.
You share something. I share something.
Insight flows both ways.
If you're only asking questions, people feel it immediately.
Real conversations have exchange.
Authenticity shows in the details of experience.

I accidentally discovered something about Twitter Communities.
Public posts were getting almost no traction.
So I tried posting inside a community instead.
Twitter gives you an option:
Post to community + public timeline.
I enabled it.
Engagement jumped immediately.
Here's why it works:
Communities already have focused audiences.
Instead of posting into the void, you post into a room full of people already interested in your topic.
It's the difference between:
Talking in a stadium.
Versus talking inside a meetup room.
Same content.
Completely different results.
Distribution isn't just what you say.
It's where you say it.
