@J4Streamzz I hope that instead of another team up we get solo films for Godzilla & Kong as they deal with the fallout of Supernova. Like they’re still working together against the same threat but Kong needs to deal with it in Hollow Earth while Godzilla holds the line on the surface.

It would be unfortunate if that were to be the actual case. But currently, I do not think so.
As long as the Monsterverse continues to bring genuine success, they will continue to make more. But I do definitely agree that they need to change it up a little after Supernova.

@J4Streamzz No I don’t think so I can think they’ll keep making more movies and shows and comics possibly more video games since the MonsterVerse is a big collaboration with Toho, Legendary, Warner Bros and Apple and is one of the most successful franchises under Marvel and DC

@M3S0soic Yeah they’ll probably keep making them as long as they’re successful. My fear is that they keep upping the stakes unnecessarily, imagine it becomes multiversal somehow

@J4Streamzz I wrote once that there might be subtle hints that the next movie after Supernova might be the last but realistically it will go on as long as it's successful enough and Supernova might even be the most successful MV ever because the series has gained momentum.

@J4Streamzz I mean, it would suck for sure, but if it was the last I would be satisfied at the end of the day the franchise gave me what I wanted which was American versions of classic Godzilla monsters and Godzilla and King Kong fighting each other again as well as teaming up

If the Monsterverse wants longevity I suggest they do solo films and focus on other titans than just Godzilla and Kong

I mean as long as they keep making money it’s unlikely. However I hope it doesn’t just become Godzilla and Kong crossover movies. I know they’re the main characters but it wouldn’t kill to see them have their own adventures separate from each other.

@J4Streamzz You can still have godzilla and kong be important but dont make the the focus. Having them as supporting characters would be great cause you can use their name but give other characters a chance to shine

@J4Streamzz Not as long as the Monsterverse keeps making money. If supernova and it’s possible sequel do well, they’ll keep making Monsterverse movies.
The Monsterverse is in the best place it’s ever been in (financially), with successful movies and TV shows. It’s not going anywhere.

@RexzillaT Yeah I feel like they’re selling themselves short with the overuse of team ups, perhaps if they go back to solo films that would increase the longevity of the Monsterverse

@J4Streamzz Maybe. Right now, it's doing pretty well; Monarch s2 is doing mostly well, it has 2 more unknown series projects in the works, & around the same time, Supernova. For the most part it's going decently, but we'll also see in another year

@J4Streamzz Maybe. It could be the end if it flops, but if this hypothetical "Supernova pt ll" does well I don't think Legendary will close the Monsterverse with it. If the next movies do good money I think Legendary will keep pushing the Monsterverse till we get Destoroyah as the Endgame
