I should note 2 things:
1: It is Anguillasaurus, not Anguirus. Same with Gojirasaurus vs Godzilla. Similar, but not the same
2: Even though it is 'An Anguillasaurus,' it is not THE Anguirus.

Do you think the MonsterVerse is setting up the Scarabs to be the equivalent version of the Precambrian crustaceans that evolved to become Destoroyah? The scarabs might’ve been affected by the Oxygen Destroyer while they were dormant off the coast of Isla de Mara, Mexico in 2019 during the events of Godzilla: KOTM? A perfect recipe for Destoroyah to appear in a future MonsterVerse film?
