Maybe this is reading too much into it, but I keep seeing a massive fault line in how boomers and everyone else make sense of what they see and hear. There has always been a generational gap, like trying to explain smartphones to a grandparent when they first came out, but at least that was operational rather than conceptual. The underlying understanding of what the technology was doing still aligned. AI seems to have blown that gap wide open into something entirely different. This is not just a learning curve, it is a fundamentally different frame of understanding. Many boomers appear totally unable to process what they are actually seeing. The idea that a video could be entirely fabricated, that a voice can be perfectly cloned, or that an image can be generated down to the smallest detail simply does not seem to register. They are still operating on the assumption that seeing is believing.

“This is an astonishing and troubling revelation. The FBI and Justice Department must go all out to release the nearly 2 million secret FBI and DOJ files on the lawfare against Trump and whatever else the Obama and Biden gangs don’t want Americans to know about. I have no doubt these records are far more important than the Epstein files," @TomFitton. t.co/xzRUYMUDKz

The Left used to worship DJT when he was a. Big Dem donor. He was in Oprah, The View. And the Left worshipped JD. Loved his book. Made a movie about him. But when you pick the other “tribe” you will be subjected to dehumanizing attacks, lawfare, smears, cancellation and other discriminatory actions. The same party that says we must love those who don’t look like you, love like you or worship like you believe it’s okay to hate and dehumanize those who don’t vote as you do.

... Yet, almost no one even cares. The dumbing down of America - vapid slogans, a new pseudoscience, dumb Instagram posts are more meaningful. No longer does my final slide say "Facts Matter" because, actually, they don't matter to most people. 🥺

Even ABC News is done with the Democrat gaslighting. ABC Host: “ICE already has the money; you’re holding up the entirety of the DHS.” Sen. Chris Van Hollen: “That’s a false statement.” ABC: “You’re holding up the rest of DHS. That’s just a fact.” Democrats would rather shut down homeland security and screw over TSA workers than let ICE do its job. The spin isn’t working anymore. Americans are watching.

Before Covid I was never denied medical treatment—not even for a mild sore throat or earache. Got Covid before the vaccine and was told I was on my own. No treatment just stay home, rest, drink fluids—Commonsense home treatment I already knew. That shook my trust in the medical industry. There I was suffering with supposedly the worst virus in 100 years and I was told to fend for myself. I felt abandoned. It took 40 days to get well. To learn IVM, HCQ or other treatments might have lessened the duration and severity of my infection, but was I denied the opportunity to try them seems cruel.

Everything we were told violated basic medical science. You don’t mass vaccinate during a respiratory pandemic. Cloth masks don’t stop a 0.1 micron virus. Early treatments were known. Doctors knew this. And many still complied—because medicine was politicized. That’s when trust was broken.

🤦🏼‍♀️I’m angry I was taught a lie at university. Let me make something very clear….It’s normal for the climate to change, it has always changed throughout earth’s history. By looking at this graph of temperature reconstructions over the past few hundred thousand years you can see that we naturally go in and out of ice ages, every 100,000 years in fact like clockwork, this is due to primarily Milankovitch cycles.

Yes, the direct victims of Russian Collusion false narrative are Trump, his family, innocent campaign workers and volunteers, senators, congressmen— but indirectly the victims include every US citizen. Russiagate did massive harm to our nation. It divided the country, widened the political divide, pitted families and friends against each other, and led to massive distrust of government. We Americans deserved truth and transparency from the highest echelons of government but instead we were subjected to two-plus years of a manipulative con job. The saddest part is there won’t likely be accountability.

Great segment this morning with Devin Nunes and Peter Schweizer, both providing their assessment of where we stand in the Grand Conspiracy case taking place in Florida. “This hoax is ongoing. This is a conspiracy that’s gone on for a decade… What it really was about was covering up for her (Hillary) missing emails. That’s what it originates with and then it goes into the ICA. It goes into the Mueller witch hunt. It goes into the Ukraine impeachment hoax. It goes all the way… to the raid at Mar-a-Lago. So the victim in this is President Trump, his family, his associates, campaign members, senators, congressmen. I think virtually everyone has been brought into this conspiracy over the last 10 years…. We all want accountability, but you have to work at this day by day, step by step, to deliver this accountability and hope that the DOJ can bring significant charges against the perpetrators.” Nunes also believes that this investigation is going forward no matter what happens in the midterms. @DevinNunes @peterschweizer

We already know how the parliamentarian is going to rule on that She will rule that SAVE America cannot be done through reconciliation So unless Senate Republicans are prepared to overrule her—which we have the power to do, even though we far too rarely do so—then that’s the end of the matter
Elizabeth Troutman Mitchell@TheElizMitchell

I asked @POTUS his response to concerns reconcilation won't work to pass SAVE America. "The parliamentarian is going to have to make a decision on that," he told @DailySignal. "I say, end the filibuster. Terminate the filibuster. Just vote, and you'll get everything you want."

You have your mother's cells in your brain right now. If she ever carried you, yours are in hers. Scientists looked at the brains of 59 women after they died, ages 32 to 101. In 63% of them, they found their sons' DNA scattered across different brain regions. The cells had traveled from the womb, through the blood, past the wall that normally keeps foreign material out of the brain, and settled in. The oldest woman still carrying her son's cells in her brain was 94. In mice, those cells became functional brain cells. The transfer starts as early as 7 weeks into pregnancy. Your cells slip through the placenta into your mother's body. Hers slips into yours. One study found a mother still had her son's cells in her blood 27 years after giving birth. After delivery, between 50 and 75% of women carry their child's cells. During pregnancy, up to 6% of a woman's blood DNA comes from the baby. When a mother's heart gets damaged during or after pregnancy, the baby's cells travel to the injury, latch on, and turn into beating heart cells, blood vessel lining, and muscle. Heart failure tied to pregnancy has a 50% spontaneous recovery rate, better than every other kind. The Mount Sinai team behind the research thinks the baby's cells are fixing the mother's heart from the inside. The cancer data caught me off guard. A study compared healthy women to women with breast cancer. 85% of the healthy group still carried their children's cells. Only 64% of the breast cancer group did. That works out to about 4x lower odds of getting breast cancer if you kept those cells. The working theory is that they patrol the body and catch cancer cells before they grow. A 2022 study found that in developing mouse brains, a mother's cells controlled the brain's immune cells, preventing them from cutting too many connections between brain cells. Your mom's cells helped wire your brain before you were born. And it stacks across generations. A woman can carry cells from her kids, from her own mother, and even from pregnancies her mother had before her. Three generations of cells from different people, living inside one body.
All day Astronomy@forallcurious

🚨: Your mother is always with you, even if she is no longer in this world: science confirms it. Part of her continues living inside you at the cellular level, a real phenomenon known as microchimerism.

I shared stories about near death experiences with someone who had a terminal illness. So many of those stories have a spiritual thread ,even visits with God and Jesus. They are comforting stories in any event. Proof of Life After Life by Raymond Moody is one book I highly recommend.

My boomer, liberal, atheist, MIL lives with us now. I actually love her very much. She’s been having anxiety about death lately and I so badly want to share the gospel with her, but she’s so anti-Christian that it just makes her mad. What’s my move here?
