DW being frustrated about long cautions in NASCAR 17 years ago. Crazy how this has only gotten worse.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but Texas gets way more hate than it should, and has put on some seriously entertaining racing in trucks and OโReilly for several years (and IndyCar). It really only seems to lack with Cup cars, but itโs far from the worst track on the face of the earth like people make it out to be.
April 23rd, 2022, the General Tire 200. On lap 48 on the front stretch, Tony Breidinger would get turned by Richard Garvie, causing Breidinger to spin up into Brayton Laster. Laster would then spin down the track and get by Garvie, who would ramp off of him. Trying to avoid the incident, Eric Caudell would spin and hit Tim Richmond, and the hit from Richmond would send Caudell spinning back up the track, getting T-Boned by Scott Melton. Ryan Huff would also be involved. Nick Sanchez would go on to win the race. #nascar #talladega #crash
