This is me every week with the stage cautions. We should be under caution for not even 5 minutes. So many laps being wasted which is absolutely infuriating

Probably an unpopular opinion, but Texas gets way more hate than it should, and has put on some seriously entertaining racing in trucks and O’Reilly for several years (and IndyCar). It really only seems to lack with Cup cars, but it’s far from the worst track on the face of the earth like people make it out to be.

April 23rd, 2022, the General Tire 200. On lap 48 on the front stretch, Tony Breidinger would get turned by Richard Garvie, causing Breidinger to spin up into Brayton Laster. Laster would then spin down the track and get by Garvie, who would ramp off of him. Trying to avoid the incident, Eric Caudell would spin and hit Tim Richmond, and the hit from Richmond would send Caudell spinning back up the track, getting T-Boned by Scott Melton. Ryan Huff would also be involved. Nick Sanchez would go on to win the race. #nascar #talladega #crash

This Dega race STUNK. Amazing win. Hall of Fame celebration, but horrific Talladega racing
Gridlock for the final hour. Race was essentially won off pit road. O’Reilly was 4-wide competitively in the same late-race situation. Sport has got to deliver a better product at one of its greatest tracks.

Sorry to whoever may disagree But that was a Top 3 moment in NASCAR Cup Series Gen 7 history. Maybe the best. Just all-time cinema. I’m in awe. Carson Hocevar is peak entertainment.
