I’ve since seen this disinformation circulate in a Russian Telegram group with 600k+ views, so the damage is done. I hope some check sources but many will surely see it and move on believing it to be true.

Hi @JamieHarrisTech your article on iphone tracking is wrong. Leaving ‘Allow apps to request…’ off automatically denies the request. Turning it on allows the app to ask & is a greater risk of just accepting.
