Burnham as PM has to be stopped. He is 10x worse than Starmer! Reform are the only party that can stop this! Restore cannot win Makerfield, vote tactically, stop Burnham. By stopping him, Starmer stays in charge and he will destroy Labour himself. If Burnham wins Makerfield, he will challenge for PM, and he is far more popular than Queer, Labour then have 3 yrs to rebuild Why are folk not getting this??

I get that, but a by election, the result of which could affect the entire country if Barnham gets in and then challenges leadership of the Labour Party, is not the place to start a personal vendetta. Rupert may end up getting his way and helping to deprive Reform of a win, but at what cost? Heโ€™s not putting the country first if heโ€™s prepared to allow a far left lunatic in the door of Parliament, the polar opposite to what he supposedly believes in! He and Reform are at least both right wing parties.

@MarkHeath45 @Diane27191686 Youโ€™re spot on with this Mark. Iโ€™ve been posting the same thing and got so shouted down by people who just canโ€™t see the bigger picture! If Barnham wins this seat, we could be stuck with a Labour Government for many years with the right wing as fragmented as it is.

I stand by what i said, that unfortunately Restore will not win Makerfield, thatโ€™s quite clear now. Rebecca has been poor! So unless u want Andy BumBum as PM, who is far far worse than Queer Harmer, then a tactical vote is needed, vote Reform! I will not be told โ€˜youโ€™re not Restoreโ€™ donโ€™t be pathetic! Itโ€™s a sensible stance, unless of course you want Burnham running the country??? Am i totally wrong?

Unfortunately, in this case, blindly following the policies and principles you believe in will land you with exactly the opposite of what you would like to achieve. You need to look at the bigger picture. Itโ€™s not just a case of proving a point over one council seat. If Burnham wins, heโ€™ll head straight for Westminster to challenge for the leadership and youโ€™ll end up with a PM whoโ€™s more far left than Starmer. Take it further, and three years of Burnham at the helm, opening the borders more than they are already, will allow more potential Labour/Green supporters to flood in unchecked. End result? The fragmented right wing shut out of power for years to come. Exactly the opposite of what you want to achieve with Restore. This is the risk youโ€™re taking by not voting tactically at this particular election. Burnham is the danger and must be kept out of Westminster unless you want a left wing government for years to come.

@LucyTCWife Go gracefully grey Lucy! I grew my colour out after I had an adverse reaction to colour, and everyone said how much better the grey suited me. A smart haircut (mine is a bob) really distracts from any loss of colour. Plus, you save a fortune in hairdressers feesโ€ฆโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜Š

Being a woman is so hard in comparison to being a man! I want to lighten my hair because Iโ€™m sick of the grey! But my hairdresser is worried it will go pink as itโ€™s has a brown/red on it. I do not want pink hair, il look like a Green voter!! Stay dark, put up with covering the greys constantly, take the risk and go lighter, it might work it might not ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Sadly, you are absolutely correct. And the rot starts in Makerfield. If that goes to Labour, then Barnham has his sights set on a leadership challenge and heโ€™s more far left than Starmer. Immigration with go up and up, increasing Labourโ€™s voter pool and by 2029, with the right wing as fragmented as it is, Labour will walk right back in power again, maybe with a coalition. If only Restore could see this instead of being so focused on this childish squabbling with Reform. Look at the bigger picture!

Lady Bella, I get what youโ€™re saying that everyone is entitled to vote for who they want, but if as polls suggest, your party is clearly not going to stand a chance of winning, wouldnโ€™t it be wise to think in terms of tactical voting? That way at least youโ€™d stand a chance of a right wing party gaining that seat. Just my thoughts.

Can Restore voters please tell me what they're hoping for when they vote Restore in Makerfield. They're clearly not going to win, so I just don't get it. Lowe, it is clear, is just out for revenge against Farage, but surely his supporters aren't so gullible as to let Burnham win?

I read an article recently on exactly this Chris, and yes, it is scary. If the right donโ€™t win in Makerfield, they will be toast for many years to come. Fragmented, the right will never get a majority vote, and because the left will carry on allowing millions of dependent immigrants in who will only vote Labour/Green, plus a lot of younger people are left wing, their support will grow. The right wing support will diminish as older voters die off.

If Rupert Lowe actually gave a damn about Britain, heโ€™d stand down in Makerfield right now, swallow his pride, and publicly urge every single one of his supporters to vote Reform. He knows heโ€™s nowhere near the top two. Heโ€™s a spoiler, pure and simple. Standing aside wouldnโ€™t just be the smart move โ€” it would be the patriotic one. It would prove he puts the country before his ego and isnโ€™t on some personal crusade to kneecap Farage. But if he refuses? Then itโ€™s game over. No more excuses. Itโ€™s crystal clear proof that Lowe isnโ€™t trying to โ€œsaveโ€ Britain โ€” heโ€™s hell-bent on torching Reform, splitting the right-wing vote, and giving Farage the middle finger while the country burns under Labour. Actions speak louder than his press releases. Stand down or own the fact youโ€™re helping Starmer. Your choice, Rupert. #votereform #unitetheright

I would no sooner take my clothes off and cycle naked through London than fly over the moon! Everyone these days has camera phones and the thought of someone uploading video of me with others where I could be recognised would fill me with horror. Iโ€™ve got more self-respect. I simply cannot understand why people do it and what for - is it charity or something? To be honest I find it a bit repulsive.

I was following Restore, but the way theyโ€™ve just resorted to doing nothing but backstabbing Reform is getting my back up! All they will do is give Labour a fighting chance of staying until 2029 and beyond, and Barnham is more far left than Starmer. Who in their right minds wants that? More to the point, what the hell is going through Loweโ€™s mind? He must know what heโ€™s doing and this is feeling more like a petty personal vendetta against Nigel Farage.

@JaneGail2 @HelenaHandcart0 @BlueEyedBoy2000 @LeoKearse You're both stupid. First off, being woke is about being aware of social injustices against minorities by white people. Second, kids turn out fine with one parent or same sex parents. Third, there are terrible mothers out there. It's not universal.

This is possibly the worst crime in modern history. Two men "adopted" a baby. "A post mortem examination identified more than 30 external bruises, as well as internal bruising to his mouth and throat, internal bruising to his anus, bowel and bladder, lacerations to his anorectum, and a perforated bowel." "One medical expert gave evidence that a bruise on the babyโ€™s bottom appeared to be a human bite mark." Think what this poor baby went through. The men who did this should be put to death. Men should not be able to buy babies. I know that this will cause some anguish to good men who have good intentions, but it's necessary to prevent this happening. This cannot happen again.

@drunard @Heccles94 I agree that coming out of the ECHR is key, although I understand easier said than done. As you say, the Irish border situation would need to be sorted. There is a minefield of policies the ECHR rules are written into so it would be a challenge.

Blaming asylum seekers for homelessness? What about the 720,000 empty homes in England, and the 1,627,450 second homes in England alone. Blaming asylum seekers for expensive food shops? What about the ยฃ3,100,000,000 profit Tesco made last year? Blaming asylum seekers for expensive energy bills? What about the ยฃ438,000,000,000 made by just 20 energy companies in profit? Blaming immigrants for not getting an NHS appointment? What about the 260,000+ migrant workers keeping the NHS going? And what about the 25% real term cut in NHS funding, think that could do it? Blaming people on welfare for a lack of money to fund the NHS? What about the ยฃ36,000,000,000 tax gap due to avoidance and evasion by the elite? It's time to realise it's not immigrants, asylum seekers or people on welfare causing you any harm, it's capitalism and the mega rich hoarding all the wealth.

Ok, so where are all the women and children? Only a few make the journey. All the rest are young men. Surely asylum seekers would be fleeing danger with their families. What are they doing, leaving them behind with pitch forks to fight the โ€˜warโ€™ for them? No, these are not true asylum seekers, theyโ€™re opportunists who I presume are aiming to get ILR and then send for their families who are currently safe in their home countries to join them. Or perhaps work on the black economy and send the money back home. A few may be genuine asylum seekers, but not many.

Exactly this! Theyโ€™re economic migrants who, rather than go through the proper legal channels, decide to just rock up in a dinghy. Theyโ€™ve been fed a load of bollocks from traffickers and charities that theyโ€™ll get a free house and money when they get here - thatโ€™s the pull factor.

So, Iโ€™ve just been watching a video posted on FB, showing two Restore guys protesting against the Reform bus in Makefield and blocking its path with their car. Why? Theyโ€™re both right wing parties! Iโ€™m very confused as to why Restore are not protesting against Labour and Andy Burnham who is the real left wing threat and is looking to have a stab at Labour leadership if he wins which would be a nightmare. Heโ€™s the real threat here so what on earth are Restore and Reform arguing about? Make it make senseโ€ฆโ€ฆ
