Research from the United States, where similar debates regularly occur, has also found no evidence that trans-inclusive bathroom policies increase sexual crimes. Studies examining cities and states that adopted inclusive restroom access policies found no increase in safety incidents after those laws were introduced. Trans women face significant risks when using public bathrooms.
