PM Carneyโs proposed fund is being created entirely from borrowed money.
Markets allocate capital more efficiently than governments. And if nation-building projects are commercially viable, private and pension capital (which Canada has A LOT of) it will fund them. If theyโre not viable without government support, a sovereign fund doesnโt change the math on that, it just makes you responsible losses.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
