@oscardziki @HarleyShah Taxes ARE coercion.
Police ARE coercion.
Property enforcement done by owners is not coercion.
English

@JeremyDLytle73 @HarleyShah Bro, us police kills 3 Americans a day:)
English

@oscardziki @HarleyShah Ok?
You think I’m on their side?
They are govt goons. 🤷♂️
What’s your point, or are you working off of bad assumptions?
English

“Coal companies often hired private detective agencies (like Baldwin-Felts) and influenced local sheriffs and state governments to suppress strikes.”
Some non-capitalist garbage did happen from 1890-1913 if that’s your point.
It’s another example of companies leveraging government to their benefit.
What of it? I don’t support companies being able to leverage government. I don’t support government much at all. Without govt those workers wouldn’t have been tyrannized.
English

@JeremyDLytle73 @ShitpostGate just as a question what happened before and during the coal wars

Familiar with it. I was a socialist 35 years ago.
Let’s say we have a society of just 100 adults (they’re are some number of children.)
First, in a communist system (or any political system really), in order for the society to be actually just, everyone would have to be involved voluntarily/consensually. And, people could be able to disassociate with the collective whenever they choose.
Second, how would issues, logistics, etc. be coordinated and addressed? Probably not by the direct involvement of every adult. They couldn’t operate as a hive mind. There’d be some form of organization that deals with collective issues.
That’s the government/state. Even Syndicalism is a form of governance.
And it always goes bad.
And no one ever, thus far, has been allowed to withdraw their consent once it does.
How many who promote communism/socialism/etc. today even care at all about consent?

English

@JeremyDLytle73 @HarleyShah look up “the withering away of the state”
English

@Jefferoody @HarleyShah Who participates in communism voluntarily?
What percentage have?
What percentage would?
English

@oscardziki @HarleyShah Taxes? Of course
Policing? Of course
Property enforcement? Not if done by the owners (directly or indirectly). If it’s done with tax funding, yes.
Aggression (violence against peaceful people) is coercion. Self-defense isn’t coercion/aggression.
English

@JeremyDLytle73 @HarleyShah So taxes, policing, and property enforcement aren’t coercion?
English

@joshua504man @YourAnonNews I’d take a homosexual libertarian over a socialist/fascist .
👍👋
English

@JeremyDLytle73 @YourAnonNews But Democrats teach that LGBTQ shit in schools to kids. And ask kids about LGBTQ. People tell me that I belong to that party because I’m black. Hell No, I don’t belong to that Fag Party.
English

@oscardziki @HarleyShah Some governments coerce more than others.
The entire system of communism and its intermediate socialism are coercion.
English

@JeremyDLytle73 @HarleyShah Governments coerce in literally every system.
That’s not an argument against communism — that’s an argument about states in general.
English

Orwell was a democratic socialist, and assumed that could be instituted consensually.
He was insightful, but wrong on that account. I think he might agree today.
“My recent novel is NOT intended as an attack on Socialism or on the British Labour Party (of which I am a supporter). It is intended as a show-up of the perversions to which a centralised economy is liable and which have already been partly realised in Communism and Fascism.”
He feared totalitarianism, and how it can pervert any ideology.
English

@NyxaAnimeDude @ShitpostGate I have nothing to need to cope about.
I’m not sure what tribe you’re assuming I ascribe to, either.
English

@JeremyDLytle73 @ShitpostGate You are literally commies 2.0 when it comes to cope
English

@complete_phased @HarleyShah How many would participate consensually/voluntarily?
English

@JeremyDLytle73 @HarleyShah That has nothing to do with communism.
English

@Jefferoody @HarleyShah The thing that makes all governments bad is that they are based on coercion/the violation of consent.
Some do it more than others.
Communism relies almost entirely on coercion.
English

@JeremyDLytle73 @HarleyShah The question is what about communism makes it uniquely bad and you responded with something that isn’t unique to any govt or economic system.
English

@mindfulmaven_ The desire to interfere with other people’s lives.
English

@creation247 Libertarianism, and that there should be no Federally-funded public schools.
English

@Jefferoody @HarleyShah “every government can be a bad government so that can’t be it.”
?
English

@JeremyDLytle73 @HarleyShah every government can be a bad government so that can’t be it.
English

@OSidSamora All things either created by or exacerbated by government.
Authoritarianism sucks.

Lista de coisas que Marx escreveu sobre o possível futuro do capitalismo:
1: Concentração de riqueza
2: Conceito de monopólio
3: Crises econômicas frequentes
4: Exploração do trabalho
5: Alienação do trabalhador
6: Globalização do capitalismo
