@scottiebateman A handsome town which we once toured while on our way to Castle Comb from Bath.

There are many reasons I love living in Corsham. But not many places begin the morning with a peacock casually walking down the high street as though he owns it. Which, to be fair, he probably does. Corsham has always had a slightly cinematic quality to it. The old limestone buildings, the Georgian facades, the quiet Wiltshire charm that somehow feels untouched by time. It’s why so many film and television crews keep returning here. Parts of Harry Potter, Poldark, and more recently the gloriously mischievous Rivals all found a home on these streets. And long before the cameras arrived, Corsham already had history layered into it. A wool town once enriched by the medieval trade routes of the south west, later shaped by quarrying the famous Bath stone hidden beneath the hills around it. Even the peacocks themselves are part of local legend, descendants of birds once kept at nearby Corsham Court and now wandering the town with complete confidence and zero concern for traffic regulations. I think that’s what I love most about this place. It’s quirky. Unapologetically so. One moment I’m crossing oceans at 35,000 feet, navigating some of the busiest airspace on Earth. The next, I’m standing in Wiltshire traffic while a peacock struts past like he’s late for a production meeting. And honestly… that feels about right. #Corsham #Wiltshire #EnglishCountryside #QuirkyBritain #Poldark #HarryPotter #Rivals #VisitWiltshire #SmallTownCharm

Looks like a reasonably smooth morning for flying with the only significant cruising-level turbulence (and low-level wind shear) expected over the Northwest.
