Ltd., Japan, visited JNARDDC on 16th April 2026 in connection with collaboration as a technical partner for the Establishment of Non-Ferrous Metal Recycling Research Facility (Research, Demonstration & Skill Development), accompanied by Mr. Narender Bhalla, Director, Daiki Aluminium Industry India Pvt. Ltd., and Mr. Morikawa Takamitsu, President, Daiki Engineering Co. Ltd. The delegation was welcomed by Dr Anupam Agnihotri, Director, JNARDDC, along with Mr R N Chouhan, Sr. Principal Scientist and In-charge of the proposed facility, who presented the institute’s key initiatives in non-ferrous metal recycling, circular economy, and technology development. During the visit, detailed discussions were held on the proposed facility, which aims to serve as a national platform for research, technology demonstration, and skill development in non-ferrous metal recycling. In this initiative, Daiki Aluminium is extending its support as a technical collaborator, bringing global expertise, advanced practices, and industry experience to strengthen the centre’s development. The delegation also visited the PEB shed facility prepared for hosting the proposed research and demonstration equipment, along with various laboratories, gaining insights into JNARDDC’s state-of-the-art infrastructure for raw material characterization, process development, and applied R&D in non-ferrous metals and critical minerals.
