Everyone knows Labour are going to win the election, but if you’re feeling like there’s no point in voting as the outcome is a foregone conclusion, I’d like to draw your attention to something really radical that is on offer tomorrow: 1/8

'Child free' weddings are bullshit. If my kids aren't allowed then I'm not going either. No one in my family is a second class citizen.

@PTstephenB I do empathise but the adverts are beyond annoying when they actively detract from being able to consume the content. There's only so much goodwill before readers will go elsewhere.

We know the adverts are annoying, but the editorial team can do nothing about it. It is also worth remembering that the adverts allow you to read the news for free.

Great to see #Firefox trending, one of the most memorable games from my childhood and glad it's getting some recognition all these years later.

"While publishers can set their own pricing, the tech co-founders have found that customers are generally willing to pay “roughly £2” for an article or podcast" Can we have some names of these people willing to pay £2 for a single article on one site?!
Press Gazette@pressgazette

"All major UK publications" are reportedly in talks with Sesamy, a digital subscriptions alternative from the co-founders of Acast that allows people to make one-time payments for articles and podcasts. The first UK partnership is expected in the spring cityam.com/meet-the-acast…

@richardkendall If anything it would need to be micropayments that are so low you barely notice it. Publishers would also need to handle refunds when people realise how poor the reporting is and want their money back
