@PTstephenB I do empathise but the adverts are beyond annoying when they actively detract from being able to consume the content. There's only so much goodwill before readers will go elsewhere.

We know the adverts are annoying, but the editorial team can do nothing about it. It is also worth remembering that the adverts allow you to read the news for free.

@richardkendall If anything it would need to be micropayments that are so low you barely notice it. Publishers would also need to handle refunds when people realise how poor the reporting is and want their money back
